Decker 01Thomas. F. Decker, M.D.

Dr. Decker received his medical degree from and completed residency at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed his neuroradiology fellowship training at Harvard Medical School. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology. Dr. Decker is licensed in Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. He is also a radiologist for Outpatient Imaging and OIS Metropolitan Imaging.

Gouse-03John C. Gouse, M.D.

Dr. Gouse received his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, New York. His combined internship and residency program was completed at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1985 where he served as Chief Resident. His Body Imaging (CT,US,MRI) fellowship was also completed at the University of Virginia Medical Center in June 1986. Dr. Gouse is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is the Medical Director of Telfair Pavilion Breast Imaging. He is licensed in Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, and Mississippi. He is also radiologist for Outpatient Imaging and OIS Metropolitan Imaging.

KnopfDavid R. Knopf, M.D.

Dr. Knopf received his medical degree from Emory University. Diagnostic Radiology training with focused training in CT and Ultrasound guided intervention was completed in June 1985 at Emory University Hospital. Dr. Knopf is board Certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is licensed in Georgia and South Carolina. He is also radiologist for Outpatient Imaging and OIS Metropolitan Imaging.

LeeLaurance I. Lee, M.D.

Dr. Lee received is medical degree from Albany Medical College in 1984 with his internship in the Dept. of Internal Medicine at Hackensack Medical Center in New Jersey in 1985 and completed residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA in 1989. His fellowship training in Neuroradiology was from July 1989-June 1990 at the University of Miami. His fellowship training in Interventional Neuroradiology was from July 1990-July 1991 at University of Virginia and Feb. 1991-June 1992 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is licensed in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Mississippi, Virginia and Arkansas. He is also radiologist for Outpatient Imaging and OIS Metropolitan Imaging.

Meglin Image 110118Allen J. Meglin, M.D.

Dr. Meglin received his medical degree AOA from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed a Surgery internship and Diagnostic Radiology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center In 1991. He then worked as a fellow at the John Hopkins Hospital in Interventional Radiology He is boarded in Diagnostic radiology with a CAQ in Interventional Radiology. His publications include an interventional radiology textbook, as well as numerous pier reviewed articles. He has been involved in several clinical trials serving as a lead investigator in two. He was an awarded reviewer for JVIR. He has lectured at AFIP and was an invited speaker at several medical conferences. He served as Director of the interventional Radiology Section at Walter Reed Army Medical Center from 1992-1997, where he received an award for teaching excellence.

Dr. Meglin also completed visiting fellowships in MSK , Breast imaging and IR. He holds four medical device patents. He had been active in medical device development and served on several industry advisory boards. He is licensed in Georgia,South Carolina and Florida. He joined Chatham Radiologists in October 2005 and merged with Savannah Radiologists forming Savannah Chatham Imaging in August 2006. He is also a radiologist for Outpatient Imaging and OIS Metropolitan Imaging.

MeyersRobert K. Myers, Jr. M.D.

Dr. Myers received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky then stayed to complete a one year Internship in General Surgery. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency along with a Fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center by 2005. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is currently the Director of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Candler General Hospital. He is licensed in Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. He is also radiologist for Outpatient Imaging and OIS Metropolitan Imaging.

Dr. O’Mara received his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital and then completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he served as chief resident. He also completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He joined Savannah Chatham Imaging in 2018. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and is licensed to practice medicine in Georgia and South Carolina.

Dr. Petty received his medical degree from Mercer University in 2012. Dr. Petty did a transitional Year at the Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center from July 2012-June 2013. He completed his Radiology residency at Virginia Commonweath University Health System from July 2013- June 2017. He completed an MSK Radiology Fellowship at Virginia Commonweath University July 2017-June 2018.  He is board certified by the American Academy of Radiology. He is licensed in Georgia, South Carolina, and Virginia. He joined Savannah Chatham Imaging in August 2018.

Philbrick PhotoThomas H. Philbrick, M.D.

Dr. Philbrick received his medical degree from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  He completed his residency training at Shands Hospital of the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.  He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.  He has served as Chairman of the Joint Imaging Department at St. Joseph’s/Candler  for many years and is currently President of the Medical Staff of St. Joseph’s.  He is licensed in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida and Mississippi. Dr. Philbrick was elected a Fellow of the American College of Radiology in 2007 . He is also a radiologist for Outpatient Imaging and OIS Metropolitan Imaging.

RiveraCarlos A. Rivera, M.D.

Dr. Rivera received his B.A. Engineering and Applied Science — Biomedical Engineering degree from Yale University, New Haven, CT (Cum Laude). He obtained his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine, New York, NY. Dr. Rivera served as an Internal Medicine intern at Yale-New Haven Medical Center (formerly St. Raphael’s) Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, CT. Resident in Diagnostic Radiology, Chief Resident 07/89 to 06/90 at Yale-New Haven Medical Center (formerly St. Raphael’s), Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, CT. Dr. Rivera obtained his Clinical Fellowship in Neuroradiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Cambridge, MA. He is licensed in Georgia, South Carolina, Florida and Mississippi. He currently is a practicing Neuroadiologist at St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System, Savannah, GA.

RadonnaRaDonna Pirkle, MPAS, PA-C, CDD

RaDonna is a graduate of South University in Savannah, Georgia. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and has her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. She is board certified by the National Committee of the Certification of Physician Assistants. She has been practicing in Radiology at St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System since 2001. Her extensive Radiology background goes back to 1991 where she completed her undergraduate degree in Radiologic Technologies at Armstrong Atlantic State University. She is also a Board Certified Clinical Densitometrist and studies Bone Density from the leaders in the field around the world. She performs imaging studies, invasive procedures and DEXA interpretation for SCI and OIS Metropolitan Imaging.
